Electronic equipment policy

Electronic equipment used to transmit or receive signals or for surveillance is not allowed on Donnate. This includes but is not limited to the following:


Cell phone, GPS radar and other signal jamming devices

Traffic light control devices

Satellite, cable TV and digital decoders

CB radios in 26.1-28MHz

Odometer modification devices

FM modulators

Cordless telephones below 853 MHz

Videosenders in the frequency range of 470–854 MHz

Radar detectors

Electrical equipment that does not comply with the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU

Electricity- or energy-saving devices that claim to reduce electricity consumption

Devices that fail to meet the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994


Activity on Donnate is required to:

  • Follow all applicable laws
  • Respect the rights of third parties
  • Follow the Donnate User Agreement
  • Follow this Donnate policy


If activity doesn’t meet these requirements, Donnate may take action consistent with applicable laws and the Donnate User Agreement and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: administratively ending listings or cancelling transactions; hiding or lowering the placement of listings in search results; restricting buying or selling; and account suspension.
