False or missing contact information policy

To make sure Donnate transactions go smoothly for everyone involved, it is important that we can easily communicate with everyone using Donnate. As such, we require all Donnate members to provide up-to-date and accurate contact information, including name, address, and phone number.

Donnate members are required to provide accurate contact information, such as their name, address, or telephone number, when registering on Donnate. Donnate members are not allowed to use a fax or disconnected number as a telephone number. As an online marketplace, we enable people who are not known to each other to conclude contracts with each other and exchange services. To ensure a secure environment for all Donnate users, we need your phone number. By means of this number, we conduct risk assessments and can quickly take the necessary protection and investigation measures, among other things, to prevent fraudulent activities for your protection.

Activity on Donnate is required to:

  • Follow all applicable laws
  • Respect the rights of third parties
  • Follow the Donnate User Agreement
  • Follow this Donnate policy

If activity doesn’t meet these requirements, Donnate may take action consistent with applicable laws and the Donnate User Agreement and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: administratively ending listings or cancelling transactions; hiding or lowering the placement of listings in search results; restricting buying or selling; and account suspension.
