Misrepresentation of identity policy

To maintain the safety of our community, all our members are required to accurately represent their identities when using Donnate. Users are not allowed to pretend to be a Donnate employee or another Donnate member.

Donnate members should never contact each other outside of Donnate's messaging system. And we'll never request that you send sensitive information such as payment details, addresses, or passwords through email. There's a good chance a request like this is fraudulent.

To report a member who's attempting to misrepresent themselves as a Donnate employee or as another Donnate member, please report the user using the Report User link on the user's page.

Activity on Donnate is required to:

  • Follow all applicable laws
  • Respect the rights of third parties
  • Follow the Donnate User Agreement
  • Follow this Donnate policy

If activity doesn’t meet these requirements, Donnate may take action consistent with applicable laws and the Donnate User Agreement and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: administratively ending listings or cancelling transactions; hiding or lowering the placement of listings in search results; restricting buying or selling; and account suspension.
